Fox in Socks

Evie very thoughtfully gifted Rahul a copy of Fox in Socks last weekend. If you don't know the book, it is one gifted to the pre-school children of people you wish to do harm. I have had to read the blasted book from cover to cover thrice at a go and I fear my poor tongue will never recover.

Returning the kindness, here is a little version of Fox in Socks and the other characters doing Hamlet, Prince of Denmark. Haffun, Evie.

LOL Why aren't you asleep, sweetie? I know my reason but what's yours?

My cousin and I used to put up performances for our parents. I was Ali Baba and she the Forty Thieves. She was the Prince and I Cindrella towering over her.

I think the lunar eclipse in the neighbourhood has both of us up and angsty...and muttering the D word.

And now I discover that you are a fellow thespian when it comes to performing for the family. The cousin and sis were part of my drama troupe! what else could we do during long winter evenings, considering we lived in Land Before Time (and Cable TV)

Aneela -- Angsty about sums it up. Was there a lunar eclipse? Hopefully that explains it, I could do with more relaxed times.

Dada and I had a TV channel for power cuts. News, sports, the works. Occasionally my best friend who lived above us joined in from her balcony.
