You know it's time to put on weight

... when a little boy cannot rest his tired little head on your shoulder, so bony is it. When he needs to tuck a wee hand under his cheek and over your shoulder before closing his eyes with an exhausted little sigh.

Awwwwww!

I know what you mean. M came over and lay down on top of me yesterday. And she seemed SO comfortable. LOL!

Well now, you're lucky indeed....I seem to keep on gaining weight quite effortlessly. And that too, in all the areas where it's quite noticeable. Damn !

Time to get some more rest too perhaps Sue...hope you're treating yourself well, girl ?

That is why I let the kids sleep on my tummy :)

Aww, Sunny! Eat up, eat up (since you cannot possibly spoil yourself lots of sleep).

I was born in the right generation, grew up in the requisite circs, but still can't bring myself to care much about my weight, although it is considerable. Just as well, I suppose.

P.S: I suggest sheddho-bhaat with potatoes and ghee, and chocolate anything from Kookie Jar with whipped cream and chopped almonds on top :-) and anything else you like, of course.

Monika, Aathira, Smitha -- :)

Aargee -- Ah ha! I made you de-lurk. Babe, I've met you. You're hardly fat!

Cee -- Awww... that is precisely what I mean. When you want to lie down on a mum and her bones keep poking you. :(

Casuarina -- I'm getting some rest right now!

Subha -- Yes, smart idea. This was in the car though.

Rimi -- Oh, now you've made me drool over the keyboard...

Such a beautiful picture you painted, with such a touch of wistfulness.

And it's such a refreshing change to hear about someone wanting to put on weight rather than losing weight!
