My Resolution for 2009

To learn a new dish every month. That sounds not impossible, even for the likes of me. And I'm rather inspired by the success of the mutton stew and the bourbon cake, really.

Priya -- Is this a guessing contest? Because you don't score a 100%, you know. Not even close.

I found my own delegation-style way around this. I try to find at least one new recipe each week, translate it for my cook and leave it for her to do the rest :-)

Monika -- Made an interesting mutton curry this afternoon. :)

Dipali -- Gaajar ka halwa coming up as soon as you teach me!

D -- I love it too already.

M4 -- I'll keep that in mind. :)

~nm -- What delicacies? If I could make delicacies I wouldn't need to make a resolution out of learning to cook!

Abha -- And I'm madly jealous of women with killer smiles. Go figure. Happy new year to you too, babe.

Avanti -- How about this -- you send me a new recipe each month? Make it simple and I'll tell you about my experience with it. If you're game, that is.

Pink -- Thanks, love. I hope so too!

Ro -- Man, I'd love to be able to do that...

Evie -- Do.
