As I type this

... Bombay has been under attack for over a day now. I think what really brought it alive for me was the constant stream of emails from friends in Bombay and elsewhere. Too many of us know somebody who has been wounded. Sanchita has lost a cousin.

I really don't know what I want to write tonight.

Oh no!! My prayers to Sanchita's family...

This along with all my other prayers for every Indian, every Mumbaikar now paralysed by some cowardly assholes who have nothing better to do that murder innocents and erode our very sense of safety and security...

Everybody -- Thanks for your comments.

IMeMyself -- Well, if your everyday life includes some added safety precautions and also some more cooperation with frisking and bag searches, that will be a good thing. Don't worry, life has to go back to normal for everybody. C'est la vie.
