That's MY Father!

Click the second photo to enlarge and you can grin at the last two lines. Considering that this is the man I have spent the better part of my life fighting, it's also tremendously reassuring!

Did I mention I'm so proud of him?

This is awsome! Loved the quote about BPs and parents/children :)

LOL! He IS right :) No matter how much you may wish, you cannot throw kids/parents out :P

Well, I think you got this philosophy from him. Why else would you try your damndest to make up with your inlaws when letting go would have been the easiest? He must be proud of you too.

Wow! I liked the whole write-up, not just the last few bytes. So refreshing to see an IT leader allergic buzzwords and yet adopt+mould the latest ideas.

Cee Kay -- Well, I couldn't let go because they are V's parents, right? But yes, I did learn this from my own parents. They fought like mad with my own grandparents (both sides) but also gave absolute respect to the grandparents' wishes.

BEV -- We don't do hugs, so this is my virtual hug. :)

Null Pointer -- Oh he hates management jargon. He's not very manager-like you know, but his teams swear by him and depend on him. I've always been proud of that and not a little amazed. You know, because this is the man who can never say the right thing at the right time to his own family... :)
