It's called matricide...

... when you try to do away with your mother at the absurdly young age of 25. When you try to give her a heart attack of the worst variety by diving off the bed -- backwards -- and land smack on top of that empty dabba you call your head.

If I had given you what you deserved, remember, no jury in the world would have convicted me.

As it went, you only got a scolding and some Arnica. You didn't even have the grace to take either with any sign of repentance.

I bet he did'nt cry.

Srin -- Oh yes, he did, but only for half a minute. Bumps are a part of normal life for him. He fell really hard this time though. Huge thud.

instead of save the girl child we should be running a save the mother campaign.

It's a miracle that we mothers survive at all:)

Toughen up that heart, Sue. It's only just beginning! :-)

Best of luck surviving!

Also try Cuprum Met. It's especially good for head bumps.

And see, this is exactly why I do not want to be around babies. I'm always on the edge about them falling off or bumping their heads against things. And half the time I think my edginess MAKES them do those things. So I stay away.

I am very scared, Sue.

You didn't drop him on his head when he was born, so he was doing it for you :D

Or, maybe the said dabba is to full with naughty ideas and thus heavier than the body so he toppled.

This reminded me of the countless number of times S landed on her dabba (I like the term!) and gave me a heart attack!

Oh, poor boy. Love to the B.

MM -- Yes, SOS "Save Our Sue".

Random -- You shoulda been there. You'd have wanted to spank him too.

Dipali -- I don't know about a generalisation... I think I was mostly fairly decent to my mother. V and his brother were holy terrors.

Moppet's Mom -- When I need encouragement I'll remember not to come to you...

NM -- He seemed to have got over it in a minute or two. I'm the one traumatised here!

First Rain -- Empty dabba got another empty dabba (a real tin one) this afternoon and enjoyed himself drumming for half an hour.

Rimi -- Don't flatter yourself. They need no encouragement, incentive or telepathy. They are like that only.

Y -- With any luck, you'll have a decent, normal child. Nothing akin to a Bhablet. Then again, who are we kidding?

GTN -- He has bumped his head more times than I care to count. But this time, he landed smack upside down. You know, like he was diving but with his arms by his side. We're lucky I'm still here to tell the tale.

Srin -- Idiot boy, more like. I'll pass it on.

Ooof ! You are only 25? Sorry but I'm a dinasour, turning 30 this year (and brooding about it) so that kinda stood out.

Anyways, hope the Bhablet's mom - oh I mean the Bhablet is doing Ok now :)

Ok it's 1 AM now and we mad women are blogging away :) Go to bed. I will too ! LOL

Hope the Bhablet didn't get a bump on the head. At least there is Arnica for him. What did Bhablet's mom take to bring her wildly thumping heart back to normal?

Poppin's Mom -- We are both fine and over this incident at last. The resilience of youth, you know. Don't worry, V is even more ancient at 31.

P.S.
I eventually went to bed at 4 and slept all morning. Hurrah for SAHMhood!

Mystic -- She blogged. :)
